BEAUTIFYING EVSE ELECTRICAL CABINETS • CITY OF HOBOKEN
The Project — Promoting pro-environmental behavior through art is core to Optera’s mission. We were commissioned by Shell Recharge and the City of Hoboken to transform their drab EVSE electrical cabinets into beautiful works of art. Along with capturing the City’s character and paying homage to its history, we were challenged to incorporate messages conveying, ‘Resiliency’, ‘Sustainability’ and ‘Vision Zero’ (the City’s special request). The on-going project is expected to be completed in Spring 2025. Some of the below images at locations throughout the city are works in progress and will be updated as artwork is completed.
